Graham
I feel most at home in any place where my feet can rest deep in hearty earth or I can immerse myself in fresh, wild water.

Graham was born and raised in Nashville, TN, but the mountains have always been home. The Appalachians beckoned, and Graham began to build roots in Asheville in 2011.

She’d long been interested in ritual, practice, and relationship to create space for deep healing. While in college, she explored energy work, meditation, and yoga; within a year of moving to Asheville, Graham began her study of herbal medicine. She completed the Traditional Herbalist Program at the Appalachia School of Holistic Herbalism with the guidance of Jessica Godino, Sarah Thomas, and so many brilliant and beautiful guides. She completed her Yoga Teacher Training to deepen her understanding of the body and the ancient healing capacity of yoga and Ayurvedic Medicine. In her practice, Graham brings yoga together with plant and stone medicine to offer breath and movement and engage the power of embodiment in healing work. She continues her studies on a daily basis, engaging with the vibrant teachers, herbalists, and other healers of Western North Carolina and around the globe.

Graham’s work is all about connection. The sweet breath of this planet and its beings is the heart of the how and why for Graham -- her reason for getting out of bed in the morning, for taking a walk, for smiling and laughing, for wonder. It’s this power that moves her through her fears, to meet sadness, overwhelm, and chaos with feet firmly planted in life… and to move through and beyond moments of disconnect into deeper relationship with self and surroundings.

In her work, Graham engages with plants, stones, breath, and movement to communicate with the material, emotional, energetic, and spirit bodies and engage our own healing potential. She loves to share about her passion for whole healing. If you have any questions, feel free to write Graham at graham@rootdeepmedicine.com.
